It is established as per the University Norms. Organization Student’s Council elections were held as per the Savitribai Phule Pune University guidelines. Miss Varsha Sharma elected as the General Secretary.
Annual Report of Student Council Activities 2023-2024
- ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was organized on 13th to 15th Aug. 2023 by Board of Student Development of our college. Department of BSD took the initiative under the leadership of Principal Dr. Anagha Naik and encouraged all the faculty members, staff and students to host the National Flag at their homes as well as create awareness among them how to keep the flag at their homes. The students also took pledge to bring „Tiranga Home‟ and host it and make the campaign a grand success. College students and staff members clicked selfi with tiranga and got the certificate.
- Dept. of BSD was celebrated Anti-Ragging Week on 12th Aug. to 18th Aug. 2024. During this week, college conducted Essay writing competition and Poster Making Competition.
- College students took Panchapran Shapat on 17/08/2023 on the occasion of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
- 17 Student of our college were participated at District level Swar-rang competition organized by BSD, SPPU, Pune incollabooratio n with KTHM College, Nashik. Akshay Dongre got First Rank in Photography Competition and selected for University Level Centralize Youth Festival 2023.
- College students was uploaded selfie with mati to Board of Development, Savitribai Phule Pune University under ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ Campaign on 8th October 2024.
- College student was participated at Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan and organized by JDC Bytco Institute of Management studies and research, Nashik

1. Rajarshree Shahu Maharaj Jayanti
Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi college of commerce, Krushi Nagar, Nashik has organised Programme of Anna Bhau Sathe Jayanti and Lokmanya Tilak Punyatithi on 1st Aug, 2023. The event was presided over by principal Dr. Anagha Naik and guided to students and staff member.
2. Addressed by Principal and Welcome Function of F.Y.B.Com
Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi college of commerce, Krushi Nagar, Nashik has organised “Addressed by Principal and Welcome Function of F.Y.B.Com”. For this event which every students eagerly awaits from their time of admission. The 20th Aug., 2023 was as a memorable day and informative day in the life of every fresher of B.Com Batch 2023-24 at Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi college of commerce, Nashik. Welcome function was filled with information, value of life and happiness. Respected principal Dr. Anagha Naik was the chairperson of the programme. Welcome for students delivered by Asst. Prof. Mangal R. Shinde and the freshers were formally welcome into the SDMSG Family. Smt. Mangal R. Shinde gave the brief introduction of Principal to students and heartiest welcome giving by sampling/plant. Every faculty member of our college gave introduction of themselves and concern department which is held under his/her authority.
3.Temporary Student Council committee –
Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi college of commerce, Krushi Nagar, Nashik framed Temporary Student Council committee. Election held on 02nd Sept., 2023. Asst. Prof. Mangal Shinde, Professor Incharge of Student Council welcomed to college principal Respected Dr. Anagha Naik, Staff Members and Students and also briefed about the working of Student Council for self development. 4. Teachers Day Celebration –
Student Council of Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi college of Commerce, Krushi Nagar, Nashik has organized Teachers day Programme on 5th Sept., 2023. The programme commenced with welcome song which is devoted to the Guru. All Staff Members and students celebrated teachers day by providing Garland to the photo of Dr. Sarvapali Radhakrishanan by the hands of Respected Incharge Principal Dr. Anagha Naik. Mr. Swanand Parkhi welcome to principal, teacher, administrative staff and all students. In his welcome speech, He also expressed altitude for the teachers and gave the best wishes. Ms. Mihika Oak gave speech on teachers day. Swanand Parkhi and Riya Patel recited a poem on Guru.
5.Ganesh Festival 2021 –
Student Council of Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi college of commerce, Krushi Nagar, Nashik conducted the Ganesha Festival on 19th Sept. to 3rd Sept. 2023. College Students adorned colourful Rangoli on the floor and the Hall was decorated. The Pooja was dutifully attended by MSG Family with every one looking their best in traditional attire and students of our college was present for Ganesh Stapana. Then our College Principal Respected Dr. Anagha Naik came and attended the Ganesh Pooja. Then we worship to God Ganesha and anjali with the mantra spoken by all staff members, administrative staff and student of our college. We also pray to God by chanting mantras, aarti song and devotional songs. Prasad was distributed to everyone after the completion of the worship.
Worship of God Ganesha has continued in our college for five days. On these days, various competition was organized such as Singing competition on Ganesha song, Photography Competition on Ganesh Festival, One Minute Competition and Dance Competition on Ganesh Festival.
On the last day 23rd Sept. 2023, after the prayer of God Ganesha, the Idol was taken for floating. Celebration of Ganesh Festival was a memorable moment for every students and Staff members. All planning of the Ganesh Festival is done by Students of our college.
6.Garba Programme
Student Council of Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi college of commerce, Krushi Nagar, Nashik has organized Garba Programme on 18th Oct., 2023 at 10.00 am. The programme commenced with Aarti which is devoted to the Maa Durga. The students of Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi College of Commerce, Nashik danced their hearts out to the tunes of Garbha! ‘Gujrat Ni Asmita’, an initiative organized by the student council of the college.
Participation at YIN Kala Mohotsav –
Our college students Mr. Manoj Ugale and Mr. Swanand Parkhi was participated at YIN competition organized by Sakal New paper. Mr. Manoj Ugale got 3rd prize in Mono Act Competition.
7.Annual Social Gathering 2023-
15th Annual Social Gathering and Prize Distribution Ceremony 2023 was celebrated from 17th Jan. to 1st Feb. 2024 by the Department of Student Council of Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi College of Commerce, Nashik. The college is a platform to nurture the artistic talents of the students. Various merit competitions were held from 17th Jan. to 24th Jan. 2023. Competitions like Ad-mad Show, One Minute Game, Rangoli Competition, Mono Act Competition, Fancy Dress Competition, Mr. and Miss. MSG Competition, Mehendi Competition, Solo and Group Dance Competition, Singing Competition etc. The response to the competition was overwhelming. The Prize Distribution ceremony for the successful students in the annual competitions and various merit competitions was held on 1st Feb. 2024. The principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Anagha Naik welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the audience. Respected Dr. R. P. Deshpande, President, of Gokhale Education Society, Nashik presided over the program. Honorable Mrs. Bhagyashree Banyat(IAS), Ex-Commissioner, Nashik Municipal Corporation, Nashik was the Chief Guest at the Award Ceremony. Mr. Ram Kulkarni and Mr. Y. R. Bhavasar were the honorable chief guest for the Prize Distribution Function.
On this occasion, Winners were felicitated by the hands of dignitaries. Mrs. Priyanka Jadhav was honored as the Best teacher for the academic year 2023-24 and Mrs. Deepali Bhavasar was honored as the Best employee. Mr. Swanand Parkhi, Student of T. Y. B.Com was selected as Best student of the year.
The program was compared by Smt. Mangal Shinde, Incharge of Student Council and Vote of thanks gave by Mrs. Priyanka Jadhav.
